Chief of Staff Intern

San Francisco Part-time and Full-time

We’re seeking a Chief of Staff Intern to work alongside our founders. They will manage priorities, liaise between departments, keep projects on track, and be a voice for our executives. A successful candidate will be versatile in communication, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.

Activities include:

  • Track/manage activities and drive prioritization
  • Innovate ways of working to deliver scale & efficiency
  • Thoughtfully funnel information to and from the founders
  • Partner with founders to understand and communicate critical insights
  • Act as a liaison between executives and all other departments/levels
  • Aid in and ultimately ensure the timely completion of creative projects

Candidate Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program, or enrolled full-time in a graduate program (M.S., M.E., MBA, Ph. D., or M.D.), pursuing a degree majoring in a scientific, business, technology, engineering, or law related field
  • Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1-B status) now or in the future
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized while working with a fast-paced team
  • Candidates need to be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point, and have strong oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work individually, as well as, part of a group, with curiosity and flexibility
  • Possess a “can do” approach, and courage to speak your voice and suggest innovative ideas
  • Interested in working in a small startup environment
  • Familiarity with ECGs, medical workflows, and software product development is beneficial
  • Unilateral leadership skills
